I wore this outfit when I attended an event for Forever 21 in SM Aura. I decided to be in my utilitarian look and also to break in my new pair of camo loafers from Everybody Needs a Pair. I’ve been really going crazy over the camo/utilitarian/military trend and I don’t know why. They said that I was know for my color blocking outfits and for this year I really want to try on print but still balance it with solid colors.

SWITCH Callalily x 6 Cycle Mind

The moment we’ve if finally here! 2 of the hotter bands in the Philippine music scene is about to take part in history as they showcase their talents together all in one stage. You read that right Callalily and 6 Cycle Mind will have their first ever back to back concert called SWITCH at the Music Museum this coming June 7 2013! I know that this will be a momentous moment and I’m really proud to have worked with these 2 bands.

I think you all know that I’m styling Kean Cipriano (Callalily’s vocalist) and I’ve also styled Tutti Caringal (6 Cycle Mind’s vocalist) for a short period. Both bands are ready to hit the stage and make their fans happy through their music and through their spectacular performances. I know that there will be lots of explosive numbers and its really a must see music event.

As you all know I’m celebrating my blog’s 2nd Anniversary and with that allow be to be a little bit personal with this post. I started blogging last 2011 and I was really doing it for nothing I just want to share my thoughts and some outfits even though I know that no one is reading it. Before I just take outfit photos and that’s it I post it right away sometimes I include some random stuff that I do. When I was still starting there’s this one person that laughs at me all the time but still take my outfit photos. She was always the critic especially with the poses I do. She always says that I should not slouch on my photos and try other poses. She believed in me ever since even without my blog she has been the most supportive person ever. Did you know that this person enrolled me in different workshops and lessons you’ll ever imagine? Voice, Dance, Musical Theatre, Tennis, Taekwondo and many more. She’s my number one fan and I bet you know who she is. She is my mother, Esther Medina. Most of the people call her Madame Esther and I believe that she really deserve that, after all the thing she’s been through she still stood up and maintain her class.

She might not be like your cool mom but this woman stays in between. She knows how to make things light but she also knows her limitation so that she’ll still be respected. My Mama is the best when it comes to nurturing us with our needs, she doesn’t spoil us and I think that’s one of the reasons why we strive to get what we really want. i believe that she was able to raise the four of us very well and I salute her for doing that.

Words can’t express how much I love my Mama. Mama is always there for us even if she doesn’t need to be there. Another cute fact about my mom aside from taking my OOTDs, She also joins me at work especially with pull-outs and returns. I think I’ve said too much and its time to end this post with a simple greeting for my Mama. Happy Mothers Day Mama! I love you so much!

Another super duper backlog for you guys. This was taken last month by my good friend Karla. For this outfit I decided to pull off a denim on denim look and added a pair of printed shoes to spice things up. Summer is about to end and we are still experiencing the extreme heat and I think the best way to keep your self cool is to wear shorts HAHAHA.

My mom always wants my room especially my bathroom to smell so fresh because aside from the kitchen the bathroom would probably be the next in line when in comes to the dirtiest part of house. HORRIBLE DINNER

Went out last night for an intimate birthday dinner with my sister and her friends. We had dinner at STELLA and can I just say that the service was horrible, the waiter that was taking our order just finished his shift and with that some most of our orders wasn’t served. Aside from the horrible service another terrible experience was the cake, we brought a cake since it was a birthday dinner and when they sang happy birthday it was like their just shouting and making fun of the celebrant it was not fun at all and when we asked if they can slice a cake and give us 4 servings they literally sliced it into four making 4 big slices of the cake it was really annoying and they didn’t even apologize. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK and to all of you reading this entry I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

To make this post a little more positive I’m including an outfit post hahaha! Wore it last night during our really bad dinner at Stella.

Styled for a Manila Bulletin Sports Digest again yesterday and as usual since I rarely go to Intramuros I see to it that I’ll be able to take my outfit shots there. I’m so thankful for having a very supportive cousin who came with me at the shoot. I styled 2 NU Men’s Volleyball players and just like before it was such a great experience and I can’t wait for the photos to be published this May!

It was held at HYVE last Thursday and the pace was jam packed with editors, celebrities, the press and fashion enthusiasts. I’ve been wearing prints almost everyday and I’m starting to love it and maybe I might even collect printed goodies. What I like about printed clothing is that it can stand on its own and you don’t have to accessorize and with that the feeling is very light and it’s so comfortable.

Just like what I’ve said in my post last Tuesday, “I love playing with prints” and for this OOTD I played around with the Camo print. Usually we see the most common camo print which is the green one and when I saw this light weight camo jacket from the thrift shop I seriously can’t get my hands off. I just love it because it’s unusual and it’s something different.

I haven’t worn my customized pair of Shulong shoes not until I found this jacket. It really goes well together and it looks like it’s made for each other. These Shulong kicks are the most comfy pair of sneakers that I got and aside from that it’s also stylish and easy to wear.
